The present invention relates to: a method for enhancing biomass productivity or seed yield in plants by transforming a recombinant vector comprising an At3g52740 protein coding gene derived from Arabidopsis thaliana into a plant cell; a manufacturing method of a transformed plant with enhanced biomass productivity or seed yield by transforming the recombinant vector comprising the At3g52740 protein coding gene into the plant cell; a transformed plant and seeds thereof manufactured by the method; a composition comprising the At3g52740 protein coding gene as an active ingredient, for enhancing biomass productivity or seed yield in plants; a promoter derived from the At3g52740 protein coding gene from Arabidopsis thaliana; a recombinant plant expression vector comprising the promoter; and a plant cell transformed into the recombinant plant expression vector.
