The present invention relates to a solid deicing agent prepared by a method comprising: making a mixture of calcium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide react with acetic acid; adding potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide, and then colloidal silica to the solution to make a reaction; and solidifying the solution. The present invention provides a method for preparing a high-performance eco-friendly solid deicing agent, which does not contain a chloride ion, thereby having no corrosive effect on steel materials and having a similar ice-melting ability to a conventional chloride-based deicing agent, or calcium chloride.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
