A method for controlling an electricity usage amount of a wire/wireless communication tool comprises the steps of: receiving position information of a user terminal from a core network controlling a wireless network or from a user terminal through an electricity reduction controlling device; determining if the user terminal accesses a registration place at a level that is equivalent to or less than a standard position value by comparing the received position information of the user terminal with position information of a registration place in which a wire/wireless communication tool is installed, through the electricity reduction controlling device; and transmitting an ON message for turning on the wire/wireless communication tool to the wire/wireless communication tool by the electricity reduction controlling device, when it is determined by the electricity reduction controlling device that the user terminal accesses the registration place at a level that is equivalent to or less than the standard position value.
