The present invention relates to a method and a system for managing a healthcare application for a smart device based on genetic information. The method comprises: a related factor extracting step of extracting a related factor concerned with personal genetic analysis information of a user from a physical or environmental related factor information directly concerned with genetic variation; an indirect factor extracting step of extracting an indirect factor concerned with the related factor and for managing personal health from health management related information; and an application recommendation step of searching an application applicable to a smart device of the user based on the related factor or the indirect factor, and recommending the searched application to the user. According to the present invention, about the body, health, and living environment of a user, not only when the user is already aware but also when the user is not aware, a beneficial application can be recommended to the user based on genetic information of the user.
