Provided are a method and a system for calibrating a stereo camera for a vehicle in the present invention. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a calibration system includes: a calibration marker for representing lattice points; and a terminal for calculating an external parameter of a camera using images received from the camera which films the calibration marker, and transferring the external parameter to the camera. Therefore, a user enables to easily calibrate the stereo camera for a vehicle, which is in progress of commercialization, in a small space by himself.
