It is a challenge to provide a release agent having excellent mold release. (A) based on the total amount of the monomer containing an alkyl group with at least 20 wt%, perfluoroalkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and further to not having a radical polymerizable reactive monomer, and (B) having no radical polymerizable functional group of the reactive functional groups by copolymerizing the monomers in the solution means that a release agent comprising the fluorine-containing polymer can be obtained.
