The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a metal composite reinforced by a nickel coated carbon nanotube and, more specifically, relates to a manufacturing method for a metal composite capable of having an improved elasticity coefficient and tensile strength using the nickel coated carbon nanotube. In accordance with the present invention mentioned above, the manufacturing method maximizes dispersibility by ozonizing the carbon nanotube; manufactures the nickel coated carbon nanotube through electroplating or electroless plating; mechanically alloys the carbon nanotube with a metal base material using a ball milling method; and then performs vacuum sintering at high temperatures. Therefore, the manufacturing method improves dispersibility and interface coherence of the carbon nanotube inside the metal base material, and realizes high stiffness and strength of the carbon nanotube as much as possible.
