The present invention discloses an image forming apparatus. The apparatus includes: a scanner unit which scans an original document to generate an original document image; a storage unit storing the original document image; an image processing unit which adjusts the resolution of the original document image to generate a preview image; a communication unit which transmits the preview image to a display device; and a control unit which receives editing data from the display device to edit the original document image once the preview image is edited on the display device.
