The present invention relates to a water gas shift reaction catalyst having metal nanoparticles immersed in a mesh-type nanostructured carrier, a preparation method for the same, and water gas shift reaction method thereof. According to the present invention, the water gas shift reaction catalyst can ensure the stability of the high-temperature water-gas shift reaction by suppressing the sintering of the metal nanoparticles and increase the efficiency thereof.
