SILK FIBROIN WOUND DRESSING MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a silk fibroin wound dressing material and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing a silk fibroin wound dressing material comprises: (1) a first step of preparing a silk fibroin aqueous solution by dissolving refined raw silk in a neutral salt aqueous solution; (2) a second step of removing the neutral salt from the silk fibroin aqueous solution prepared by the first step; and (3) a third step of gelling the silk fibroin aqueous solution by irradiating the silk fibroin aqueous solution in which the neutral salt is removed by the second step. According to the present invention, the silk fibroin wound dressing material can be maintained to have a random coil structure, and gelling time can be specifically reduced compared to a conventional method.
