Provided are a method and an apparatus for calculating a change amount of an absorption coefficient and a change amount of a scattering coefficient so as to solve a problem of a reverse diffuse optical tomography. The method can comprise the steps of: detecting a recovery target changed with an optical coefficient using light sources in at least one from the whole area performed with the diffuse optical tomography; calculating inner optical fluence on the basis of the recovery target; and calculating a change amount of an absorption coefficient and a change amount of a scattering coefficient using the inner optical fluence.
