The present invention relates to a pretreatment method of cellulose, a method of cellulose esterification including the same, and a transparency film comprising cellulose ester produced by the same and, more specifically, to a method comprising a step of irradiating ultrasound after adding ethanol into dispersed liquid which includes cellulose and water, and a step of increasing a surface area of cellulose by altering hydrogen bonds between cellulose-cellulose or cellulose-water into hydrogen bonds between cellulose-ethanol. The purpose according to an embodiment of the present invention is achieved by the pretreatment method of cellulose comprising: a first ultrasound irradiation step for irradiating ultrasound to the dispersed liquid which includes cellulose and water; a second ultrasound irradiation step for irradiating ultrasound after adding ethanol to the dispersed liquid; and a third ultrasound irradiation step for irradiating ultrasound after adding more fatty acids to the dispersed liquid.
