The present invention relates to a feed additive. Disclosed are a method for producing a feed additive for increasing the absorption of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in ruminants, and a method for producing milk with increased GABA content by feeding the feed additive to cows. The method for producing the feed additive comprises the following processes: making a GABA mixture by mixing GABA powders and coupling agents; forming the GABA mixture into pellets; and coating the GABA pellets with hydrogenated oil which is dissolved in the small intestine of the ruminants, not in the stomach of the ruminants.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
