The present invention relates to a marine weather information providing system for the optimization of ship energy and safe navigation. The marine weather information providing system for the optimization of ship energy and safe navigation according to the present invention comprises: a ship energy reducing system (10); a satellite (20); a ground server (30) for managing a marine ship; an internet network (40); and a reading terminal (50). The ship energy reducing system (10) is installed on a ship (1) to collect ship data about the direction of the wind, the speed of the wind, and the height of waves from a ship control room device (11) and an engine control room device (12), which are connected to sensors for detecting the wind (direction and speed) and the height of waves. The ground server (30) for managing a marine ship receives the ship data about the direction of the wind, the speed of the wind and the height of waves through the satellite (20) via the ship energy reducing system (10), decodes the ship data collected through a third-generation wave model, processes the ship data according to the request of the ship (1), and transmits the ship data through the satellite (20) to the ship energy reducing system (10). Accordingly, weather information data can be provided swiftly to the ship by lowering the loss rate of the marine weather forecast data. Also, the present invention increases the application rate of weather information by improving the accuracy of weather data collection from the ship. In addition, the present invention finally improves the fuel reduction rate of the ship by operating the ship on the sea using the weather information.
