The present invention relates to a composition for coating the surface of a dental implant including hydroxyapatite and silk fibroin as active components, a method for coating the surface of a dental implant by using the composition, and a dental implant manufactured by the coating method. The implant having a composite of hydroxyapatite and silk fibroin coated has improved bone-implant contact, not only accelerates formation of bones around the implant, but also has less manufacturing costs by comparing with collagen which is a different reported coating material, and is safe by overcoming infection problems of disease caused when using collagen.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
