摘要

The present invention relates to a fireproof binder with low chloride for forming e-glass fiber heat insulating material, and a method of manufacturing the same. The method according to the present invention manufactures the fireproof binder with low chloride by injecting: plaster which is stable under high temperature and provides a bonding function when being cured by condensation; silica sol which strengthens the coupling strength of the plaster; fumed silica which provides porosity to the plaster to be denser in structure and thus enhances heat insulation when being cured; and a thickening solution which contains no chloride and interferes with crystallization of plaster particles to increase the available time to use plaster, into water in suitable amounts, and mixing and stirring the same. The plaster, silica sol and fumed silica among the materials, used to satisfy functions of the fireproof binder with low chloride, can be easily purchased in the market; the thickening solution excluding chloride can be obtained through a conventional process to be provided easily through simple process; the thickening solution which interferes with crystallization of plaster allows materials to be surrounded by plaster which is stable under heat so that a fireproof property without an additional flame retardant can be obtained; and plaster is cured under natural conditions after an adequate working time necessary for forming is given, and moisture contained in the binder is dried away through heat generated naturally, thus a drying step for drying the binder in forming of an e-glass fireproof heat insulating material can be removed.
