The present invention relates to a technique of manufacturing a graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane in which graphene oxide of 3-50 m is coated with a thickness of 10 nm or more on various supporters, or a graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane with a structure wherein graphene oxide is inserted into a polymer. Even if the graphene oxide, of which the size is controlled to 3-50 m, is coated as a nanometer-thick thin film on various supports or the graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane has a simple structure wherein the graphene oxide is inserted into the polymer, and thus the graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane can be applied to the packaging of display devices, food, and medical products since the graphene oxide nanocomposite membrane manufactured according to the present invention has excellent barrier characteristics against various gases.
