The present invention provides a system and a method for using data between applications, a terminal device applied to the same, and a method for operating the terminal device. According to the present invention, the security and reliability of interoperation between applications can be enhanced by: confirming whether an authentication key for using user information related to a second application is stored or not, when a first application is activated; determining whether the authentication key is valid or not, when the authentication key is stored; and allowing the first application to use the user information based on the authentication key, when the authentication key is determined to be valid, based on a determination result on the validity.
