The present invention relates to a social network service method for a discussion sympathy battle in the online community in which users belonging to communities different from each other perform a discussion battle together with respect to a specific subject to raise cohesion among the users belonging to the communities. The social network service method which allows users belonging to multiple online communities to discuss, comprising the steps of: receiving a discussion subject from any one online community operator and opening a discussion battle room; allowing an operator belonging to the other community to participate in the opened discussion battle room; allowing the users belonging to multiple communities participating in the discussion battle room to participate in a discussion battle room to perform a discussion battle for the discussion subject during a set period; and calculating, when the discussion is ended, scores of the discussion battle result, determining rankings among communities, and compensating for the winning community. Accordingly, it is possible to share various opinions of a discussion subject among communities, and to raise cohesion among users belonging to communities.
