The present invention relates to a bus information terminal which is installed at a bus stop station installed at a roadside to board a bus allocated in a fixed time interval. Especially, the present invention provides a low- bus information terminal using solar light which includes: a communication part for communication with an integrated control center which checks allocation information cording to bus operation and location information of each bus operated according to each route and acquires information according thereto; an electronic display board which displays information like bus arrival time etc; a photovoltaic panel for generating electricity by solar light; a sensor part which performs a sensing function for existence of passengers, surrounding environment of a bus stop and system stability; a power source part which charges electric energy generated through the photovoltaic panel and supplies the charged electric energy as a driving voltage; and a control part for controlling the electronic display board, the sensor part, the power source part and the communication part. The electronic display board, the sensor part, the communication part and the control part are located at a random position of a housing. Thus, the present invention expects the effect of improving a problem caused from using a commercial product and necessary conditions like electric/communication cable installation of the existing bus information terminal.
