The present invention relates to a compact sterilizer installed inside a footwear and a footwear having the same. Moreover, an ion generator generating an ion with electrical energy generated in a piezoelectric element is applied to the present invention. The present invention uses the electrical energy supplied from the piezoelectric element by a self-power generation method to continuously generate the ion from the ion generator while a person wears the footwear and walks. Therefore, the present invention sterilizes various fungus and germs inhabited inside the footwear and removed a bad smell of the footwear to enable a user to freshly wear the footwear. More specifically, the present invention is capable of sterilizing an inner space of the footwear through emitting a great quantity of the ion to the inner space of the footwear coming in contact with the inside of leather uppers of the footwear and the top of foot of the user while the user walks.
