The present invention relates to a direct-fired oven using red clay, capable of cooking food by directly placing the food on a heating device such as a household gas stove, a portable gas stove, an electric stove, and charcoal and, more specifically, to a clean and sanitary direct-fired oven using red clay, which can: enable food to be deliciously cooked by emitting far-infrared radiation while cooking; uniformly cook food while saving energy as the inner temperature of a cooking chamber is easily maintained; and minimize smoke and smell by minimizing the burning of food while cooking. According to the present invention, the direct-fired oven is capable of: enabling food to be tastily prepared by including an inner wall unit composed of a vermiculite layer and a red clay layer on an inner wall of a main body to emit far-infrared radiation while cooking; uniformly cooking food while saving energy as the inner temperature of a cooking chamber is easily maintained; and preventing food from burning to minimize smell and smoke by minimizing fires to directly heat food, using a seat member having a new configuration as a medium, thereby obtaining an effect of cleanly and sanitarily cooking food.
