According to the present invention, porous carbon nanofiber manufactured by a method for manufacturing porous carbon nanofiber for carbon dioxide absorption comprises the steps of: (a) manufacturing halogenated polymer nanofiber using a halogenated polymer; (b) processing dehalogenation for the halogenated polymer nanofiber; and (c) carbonizing the halogenated polymer nanofiber for which the dehalogenation has been processed, has a high specific surface area and pore volume and the rapid absorption/desorption speed and is thermally and chemically stable and reusable, thereby being usable as a valuable CO_2 absorbent.
