The present invention relates to an apparatus attached to a faucet, which is operated on three modes comprising: an operation-off mode of a proximity sensor; a mode operated in case a hand approaches, which is only operated in case of detecting a hand of a user; and a mode which is always operated. A faucet apparatus capable of controlling a water discharge system with three modes comprises: a detection sensor (4) mounted in a housing of a faucet (2); a control unit discharging or restraining running water; a first body (1a) in a shape covering an end portion of the faucet; a second body and a third body (1b, 1c) bent from the first body to be extended and spaced apart from each other; a non-detection object (1-1) formed in one side of the second body (1b); and a regular detection object (1-3) formed in one side of the third body (1c).
