The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing special tariff inactivity time, and a recording medium. The apparatus for processing special tariff inactivity time according to the present invention comprises: a storing unit which connects identification information for a wireless terminal, identification information for one or more special tariff applications selected by a user and set special tariff inactivity time values (t), and stores the same in a recording medium; a detecting unit detects whether a wireless terminal device processing packet transmission and reception is matched with the identification information for the wireless terminal stored in the recording medium and whether an application, for a wireless terminal, processing packet transmission and reception is the special tariff application stored in the recording medium, when the packet transmission and reception is performed between the wireless terminal and a server through communications network; and a processing unit which, if the wireless terminal device processing the packet transmission and reception is matched with the identification information for the wireless terminal stored in the recording medium, and if the application processing packet transmission and reception between the wireless terminal and the server is the special tariff application stored in the recording medium, determines set inactivity time values (t) connected to the special tariff applications through the recording medium, and then transmits an instruction to the wireless terminal to be forcibly converted into an idle state, if the wireless terminal device fails to communicate with a base station on communications network during the set inactivity time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
