The present invention is to provide a method for providing financial transactions through a meta agent by a user terminal, comprising the steps of: inputting a financial transaction request to the user terminal; transmitting, when a smart card is tagged, a tag information providing request including multiple tag information items required for the financial transaction request, to the smart card; receiving multiple kinds of tag information extracted from the smart card in correspondence with the tag information providing request, from the smart card; and controlling the operation of the user terminal according to the kinds of tag information.
