The present invention relates to a composition for collecting CO2 as marine bacteria-derived recombinant biocatalyst capable of promoting the hydration reaction of the CO2 and having excellent safety for a temperature and pH. Specifically, the marine bacteria-derived recombinant biocatalyst comprises transformant expressing Hydrogenovibriomarinus derived carbonic anhydrase and carbonic anhydrase separated from the cell crush liquid of the transformant cell, or separation liquid, or the transformant cell and a method for collecting the CO2 using the same. The marine bacteria-derived carbonic anhydrase of the present invention can maintain excellent activation in various pH ranges and a high temperature and is usefully applied to a real CO2 collecting process. In addition, the present invention has a benefit in an economical aspect because the composition for collecting the CO2 can be massively produced by using a coliform bacillus system.
