The present invention relates to a mold apparatus for a direct tensile strength test and a method for testing tensile strength using the same. The mold apparatus for a direct tensile strength test comprises: a cylindrical cylinder part (10) consisting of right and left semicircular container parts (10a, 10b) to be separated and combined; upper and lower trapezoidal parts (20, 20′) combined with upper and lower ends of the cylindrical cylinder part (10), and forming a taper part; and upper and lower cap parts (30, 30′) combined with upper and lower ends of the upper and lower trapezoidal parts (20, 20′) to transfer a load. The method for testing tensile strength using the same comprises: a mold assembling step (S1 step) of combining upper and lower trapezoidal parts (20, 20′) with a cylindrical cylinder part (10), and assembling a mold by combining a lower cap part (30′) with the lower trapezoidal part (20′); a material preparing and filling step (S2 step) of preparing and filling a material to be tested in the mold; a curing step (S3 step) of curing while the mold filled with a material is in constant temperature and humidity conditions; an upper cap part combining step (S4 step) of combining an upper cap part (30) with the upper trapezoidal part (20); a separating step (S5 step) of separating the cylindrical cylinder part (10) from the mold; and a tensile strength testing step (S6 step) of measuring tensile strength of a specimen through an apparatus for transferring the load of the upper and lower cap parts (30, 30′). The present invention has effects of more accurately measuring test results while a test procedure is more convenient in comparison with a conventional tensile strength testing method, inducing the ground and facilities to be safely designed and constructed through direct use in practice of test results, and pursuing economic efficiency.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
