Provided is a voltage controlled oscillator based on an armstrong-colpitts voltage controlled oscillator. The disclosed voltage controlled oscillator includes a PMOS transistor and an NMOS transistor which are interconnected; a primary inductor which has one end connected to the drain electrode of the PMOS transistor and the other end connected to the drain electrode of the NMOS transistor, and comprises the primary turn of a transformer; a secondary-1 inductor which has one end connected to the drain electrode of the NMOS transistor and the other end connected to the gate electrode of the PMOS transistor, and comprises the secondary turn of a transformer; a secondary-2 inductor which has one end connected to the gate electrode of the NMOS transistor and the other end connected to the drain electrode of the PMOS transistor, and the end comprises the secondary turn of a transformer. The primary inductor and the secondary-1 inductor form a first transformer. The primary inductor and the secondary-2 inductor form a second transformer.
