PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus, a reproduction apparatus, a recording method, a reproduction method, and a program, to smoothly perform moving image reproduction using RAW image data recorded as still images when a moving image is photographed. PSOLUTION: The recording apparatus includes image processors 120, 122 and 124 for processing RAW image data, sequentially output from an imaging element by each frame, into reproducible image data and generating processed image data for each frame, an photographing condition obtaining unit 136 which obtains photographing conditions, needed to reproduce the RAW image data sequentially by each frame, when still images are photographed during recording of processed image data for each frame, and a medium recorder 150 sequentially recording the RAW image data by each frame, the processed image data for each frame, and the photographing conditions for each frame to a recording medium for each frame.
