Composition for Gastroretentive Swelling Tablets Comprising Poorly Soluble Drugs

The present invention relates to a gastroretentive swelling tablet with improved beta-lapachone solubility which is a poorly soluble drug and, more specifically, to a gastroretentive swelling tablet comprising beta-lapachone in which swelling properties, dissolution characteristics, and mechanical strength are improved compared to a convention. The gastroretentive swelling tablet comprising beta-lapachone of the present invention can greatly improve bioavailability by improving solubility of beta-lapachone, shows excellent dissolution characteristics by swelling appropriately; and shows sufficient mechanical strength to withstand the movement of the stomach compared to a conventional formulation.
