The present invention relates to a system and a method for processing a financial transaction using a customer terminal. More specifically, the present invention provides a system and a method for processing a financial transaction using a customer terminal, wherein a permission number is issued to the customer terminal when a transaction detail is preinputted through the customer terminal, the permission number and the corresponding preinputted transaction detail are shared by a counter terminal, and the counter terminal retrieves the transaction detail corresponding to the permission number to process the transaction. Therefore, the time required for financial tasks performed between a customer and a counter employee is reduced, and a manipulation error of the counter employee is decreased.
