A beamforming device and a beamforming method, using channel distribution information and interference level control in a multiple-input single-output channel, which can maximize the transmission rate within a provided outage probability are provided. A beamforming device of the present invention includes: an input unit which receives channel distribution information; and a control unit which sets up an initial value of relaxed zero forcing conditions using the received channel distribution information and set maximum acceptable outage probability, forms an optimal transmission beam vector with respect to the set initial value using the set initial value, updates the relaxed zero forcing conditions using the formed transmission beam vector, and forms the optimal transmission beam vector for the updated relaxed zero forcing conditions using the updated relaxed zero forcing conditions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
