Repairing methods for slab of the continuous casting machine mold by using of the Laser and its productions

PURPOSE: A maintaining method of a mold for continuous casting for a slab using a laser and a regenerated article are provided to allow a user to semipermanently use the mold by using the mold for an overlaying layer on whole surfaces of the mold which used to be discarded. CONSTITUTION: A maintaining method of a mold for continuous casting for a slab using a laser is comprised for removing or repairing crack, scratch or deformation generated on a surface of the mold directly touching molten steel and for overlaying layers in order to include the thick surface of the thin mold. The maintaining method of a mold for continuous casting for a slab using a laser comprises a step of completely removing the crack, the scratch, or the deformation generated on the surface of the thin mold through a grinding process or a cutting process for flattening; a step of overlaying the layers more thickly than the surface before removed while melting wire rods or copper or copper alloy or nickel or powder of nickel alloy or cobalt alloy with the laser; and a step of finishing the surface of the mold to be flat by reacting the cutting process or the grinding process.
