The present invention relates to a loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction primer set for detecting listeria monocytogenes and a composition for detecting listeria monocytogenes using the same, and a kit and a detection method thereof. In the present invention, listeria monocytogenes can be specifically detected under higher sensitivity by performing the loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction with use of the primer set of the present invention compared with a conventional method for detecting the same. In addition, contamination of listeria monocytogenes and the level thereof can be accurately checked fast by improving the reaction time due to performing the loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction with use of the primer set of the present invention. Therefore, the primer set can be widely used for screening sample contaminated by listeria monocytogenes in an early screening system and for basic public health research.
