The present invention relates to a system for monitoring a cryogenic fluid storage tank, which comprises: at least two fiber bragg grating (FBG) sensor package modules installed at least on two points of the cryogenic fluid storage tank, and measuring a temperature and a strain in the cryogenic fluid storage tank; a signal transceiver unit transmitting multi-wavelength signals to the FBG sensor package modules and receiving short-wavelength signals reflected by the FBG sensor package modules; and a computer monitoring the states of the temperature and the strain by analyzing the short-wavelength signals transmitted to the signal transceiver unit. The system according to the present invention is capable of measuring the temperature and the strain in the cryogenic fluid storage tank such as an LNG storage tank using FBG sensors simultaneously, safely, and accurately.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
