The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing temperature deviation of a rolling material which includes a step in which a control unit receives information of rolling material entering a rapid cooling apparatus; a step in which a temperature measurement unit measures the temperature of the rolling material; and a step in which the control unit determines a need for a correction in cooling the rolling material based on the information of the rolling material and the measured temperature of the rolling material, wherein the temperature measurement unit measured the temperature of the rolling material in the width direction in the step of measuring the temperature of the rolling material, and the step of determining the need for a correction in cooling the rolling material includes at least one among a step in which the control unit determines whether a temperature difference of an upper portion and a lower portion of the rolling material exceeds a first reference value, a step of determining whether a temperature difference of a front end and a rear end of the rolling material exceeds a second reference value; and a step of determining whether a temperature difference in the width direction of the rolling material exceeds a third reference value.
