The present invention relates to a user position determination system using the comparison of a visible satellite expectation chart of satellite navigation and satellite information and a method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a system which determines the position of a user by comparing visible satellite expectation chart information estimated by using satellite orbit information with visible satellite information which is received currently and a method thereof. The present invention comprises; a visible satellite expectation chart producing unit which performs a satellite visibility test for extracting the type of a visible satellite of a user viewpoint, a unique identification number, and arrangement and extracts a visible celestial sphere shape and produces a visible satellite expectation chart by digitizing and mapping the visible satellite expectation chart; and a user position determination unit which determines the position of a user by comparing the visible satellite expectation chart produced by the visible satellite expectation chart producing unit with visible satellite information which is received currently.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
