The present invention relates to a bridge having an improved supporting force and a visual quality and a construction method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to improve a supporting force and safety by enabling the upper and lower side of a girder to be supported by a lower structure and improving the visual quality by combining the girders and railings. The bridge having an improved supporting force and a visual quality by the present invention includes: the lower structure (10) having an upper girder support unit (11) and a lower girder support unit (12); a girder assembly (20) having an arch part; a road layer (30) constructed on the girder assembly; and the railings (40) standing each both side of the width direction of the road layer. A box shaped truss section, which is composed of a lower girder, an upper girder, and a connection rod, installed on both left and right sides of a central straight section, respectively and the central straight section composed of the lower girder.
