The present invention relates to a method for determining a gender using volumes and surface areas of arm-legs bones. More specifically, the method includes: (a) an image generating step of generating three-dimensional (3D) image data of bones constituting arms and legs; (b) an operating step of calculating a volume and a surface area of each bone by using the 3D image data of the arms and the legs; and (c) a determination analyzing step of generating a determination function by using the volume or the surface area which is calculated in the operation step or both of them. Therefore, the method of the present invention is capable of securing accuracy and reliability by generating the 3D image data of the bones constituting the arms and the legs, by calculating the volume or the surface area of each bone or both of them, and by generating the determination function using the calculated volume or surface area value of each bone.
