CLIENT APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING MOBILITY AND SECURITY BETWEEN HETEROGENEOUS NETWORKS USING MOBIKE PROTOCOL

PURPOSE: A client apparatus for supporting mobility and security between heterogeneous networks using a mobile protocol is provided to receive a wireless Internet service while receiving security through an IPSec(IP Security protocol) security tunnel during the movement between heterogeneous networks. CONSTITUTION: A security tunnel processing unit(330) sets up a mobile security tunnel between a mobile gateway and a client device in a wireless connection network. The security tunnel processing unit maintains the mobile security tunnel during the handover between the heterogeneous networks. A mobile security tunnel control unit(360) executes a MOBIKE protocol in the security tunnel processing unit. The mobile security tune control unit controls the maintenance and the setting of the mobile security tunnel while using a security association scheme generated in the initial connection.
