Method and system for controlling quality of service to private network terminal in IMS network environment

The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling and processing quality of service (QoS) in access to a mobile terminal using a private IP address and belong to a private network under an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network environment. The present invention relates to a method for providing a QoS control service to a mobile terminal belonging to a primate network under an IMS network. Disclosed is a method for controlling QOs of a private network terminal in an IMS network environment, which includes the steps of: (a) allowing an IMS-based session boarder controller (SBC) to determine if a mobile terminal belongs to a private network by receiving a session initiation protocol (SIP) message from the mobile terminal; (b) allowing the SBC to change IP address information of the SIP message into an authenticated IP address information if the mobile terminal belongs to the primate environment, to insert private IP address information of the mobile terminal under the private environment into an additionally created SIP header contained in the SIP message, and to transmit the SIP message to a call session control function (CSCF); and (c) allowing the CSCF based on the IMS to request a QoS control process for the mobile terminal from a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) to perform the QoS process of the private network while providing the private IP address information of the mobile terminal based on the SIP header of the received SIP message.
