The present invention relates to a dividing and flattening apparatus for uniformly drying coal transported in a coal drying system, comprising: a first divider in which a plurality of first dividing protrusions are formed on the bottom of a body as placed at regular intervals in a horizontal manner; a second divider in which a plurality of second dividing protrusions are formed on the bottom of the body as placed at regular intervals in a horizontal manner while being placed apart from the rear of the first divider, wherein the second dividing protrusions are located between the first dividing protrusions formed on the first divider; a dividing protrusion formed at the center of the front surface of the body in a column shape; and dispersion flattening devices installed as placed apart from the rear of the the second divider, and installed inside a first exhaust gas chamber, a second exhaust gas chamber, a third exhaust gas chamber, and a fourth exhaust gas chamber, respectively, thereby transporting a pile of coal as loaded on the surface facing the upper part of each transporting plate. During the transportation of the coal pile, the coal pile is divided, collected, and dispersed by a plurality of dividers installed inside an exhaust-gas chamber and a dispersion flattening device to mix the same repeatedly for flattening the same. Incomplete combustion can be prevented by removing the existing moisture inside and outside the coal, and reliability in accordance with the operation of a coal drying apparatus can be improved by having the coal pile enlarge a portion exposed to reheat steam at high temperatures. In addition, the discharge of air pollutants can be minimized and a heating amount of coal can be improved.
