The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a metal matrix composite using friction stir spot welding (FSSW), and comprises the steps of: supplying a mask; laminating a carbon material on a first metallic material using the mask; arranging the first metallic material on a second metallic material; and joining the first metallic material and the second metallic material using the FSSW such that the low costs and high-efficiency characteristics in a nanoparticle deposition system (NPDS) and the FSSW is provided, and a composite material can be produced in a desired location. Moreover, as the NPDS can control an amount of a carbon material power being laminated, a mechanical characteristic of a spot joining part can accurately be predicted; and as the power is laminated having a sufficient adhesive force, it is possible to manufacture a neat composite material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
