The present invention relates to an interface device for a person with upper limb disability which provides increased accessibility of an information technology (IT) device to a person with upper limb disability and can perform delicate hand motions on behalf of the person. The interface device includes: an electromyogram signal measuring unit which is worn on an arm of the person and measures electromyogram, which is an active potential generated when a muscle contracts; an accelerometer which detects a state signal of movement of the arm of the person; a processor which recognizes movement for controlling an object based on the measured electromyogram and the state signal of movement of the arm, and generates a control signal for controlling the object based on the results of the recognized movement; and a communications module which converts the control signal, generated by the processor, into an interface signal and transmits the interface signal to the object to be controlled.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
