The present invention relates to an automatic power transfer switch, and more particularly to a controller for an automatic power transfer switch, which can automatically perform calibration according to a difference between rated voltage and input voltage. The controller for an automatic power transfer switch according to the present invention comprises a controller, which calculates an average root mean square value respective to the voltage of power received during a predetermined time period when the input voltage of the received power is bigger or smaller as much as a predetermined ratio than predetermined rated voltage, calculates an average of the average root mean square value calculated during the predetermined time period, determines a difference between the average value and the rated voltage as a final calibration factor, and automatically performs calibration by compensating the final calibration factor to the input voltage of the received power.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
