The present invention relates to a position control system of an antenna for satellite communications using a Gyro sensor capable of performing an accurate position chase for a satellite in a parabolic antenna as an antenna for satellite communications mounted on a moving body such as a ship, a vehicle, etc. by using a Gyro sensor. The position control system of the antenna for the satellite communications using the Gyro Sensor according to the present invention comprises; an antenna unit for satellite communications capable of transmitting and receiving a signal with a satellite; a position information input unit which inputs beam spread angle information of the antenna unit for the satellite communications to chase the position of the satellite; a position sensor unit which includes the Gyro sensor to produce position information of the antenna unit for the satellite communications by sensing the movement of the antenna unit for the satellite communications for yaw, pitch, and roll directions; a position control unit which produces a position correction signal by comparing the position information produced in the position sensing unit with the beam spread angle information; an antenna driving unit which rotates the position of the antenna unit for the satellite communications as a constant angle based on the position correction signal produced in the position control unit; and an encoder unit which detects the rotation angle of the antenna unit for the satellite communications rotated by the antenna driving unit.
