Specific examples of the austenitic stainless steels include stainless steels having a maximum of 0.20 C, 2.0-9.0 Mn, 2.0 Si maximum, 16.0-23.0 Cr, 1.0-7.0 Ni, 3.0 Mo maximum, 3.0 Cu maximum, 0.05-0.35 N, (Nb + Ti + V + Ta + Zr) 1.5, a maximum of 0.01 B, a maximum of 1.0 Co, iron and impurities up to 4.0 W, (7.5 (% C)). Specific examples of the steel may include 0.5? (Mo + W / 2)? 5.0 and / or 1.0? (Ni + Co)? 8.0.
