DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING DFT-BASED CHANNEL ESTIMATION IN FREQUENCY DOMAIN FOR OFDM RECEIVERS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR THE SAME
The present invention relates to a device and a method for providing DFT-based channel estimation in a frequency domain for OFDM receiver, and more specifically, to a method for providing DFT-based channel estimation in a frequency domain, which, when performing DFT-based channel estimation in a frequency domain in an OFDM receiver, accurately estimates an impulse response of an effective channel from which effects from aliasing and noise due to errors in channels in a time domain are removed, through estimation of changes in channels, division of sections in which changes in channels has occurred, and calculation of average values, and also operates reliably irrespective of SNR levels of a reception signal by setting a reference value for a channel impulse response according to an average power of noise. According to the present invention, effects from aliasing and noise are effectively removed in DFT-based estimation of channels in a frequency domain, and the performance of an OFDM receiver can be maintained reliably.
