The present invention relates to a device and a method for generating white noise, and more specifically, to a white noise generating headset for relieving stress and improving concentration, and a white noise generating method using the same capable of relieving stress by using a headset used for a phone call or studying, which measures a voice, a pulse wave, and a skin current, and generates white noise which can improve concentration to an earset part of the headset. The white noise generating headset for relieving stress and improving concentration according to the present invention comprises: a headset (10) comprising a microphone (11) to output a voice to a communication line (30), a sound output unit (12) to output the voice inputted from the communication line (30), and a sensing unit (13) to sense one or more among a pulse wave, a skin current, and a skin temperature; and a white noise generating device (20) comprising a stress calculation unit (22) to calculate a stress index from the voice outputted from the microphone (11), a white noise generating unit (23) to generate white noise to output the white noise to the sound output unit (12), and a control unit (27) to control the white noise generating unit (23) to output a white noise sound to bring the stress in a normal range according to the stress index calculated by the stress calculation unit (22).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
